1. Q: What accreditations and inspections does Learning to Learn Childcare Center have?
 

A: Learning to Learn Childcare Center is a Pennsylvania Keystone STARS 4 program, the highest quality rating in the Keystone STARS system. We proudly participate in both the Head Start and Early Head Start programs and are regularly inspected to ensure we meet or exceed state requirements, including child-to-teacher ratios, health and safety standards, staff qualifications, and facility requirements.

 

2.Q: How do you communicate with families?

 

A: We believe strong family partnerships are essential. Families receive regular updates regarding their child's day, developmental progress, activities, and important program announcements through our communication platform and direct staff interactions.

 

3.Q: What curriculum do you use?

 

A: Our program utilizes research-based curriculum and assessment tools designed to promote social-emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development while preparing children for future academic success.

 

4. Q: Do you support alternative diets?

 

A: Yes. We work with families to accommodate documented dietary restrictions, food allergies, medical needs, and certain lifestyle or religious dietary preferences whenever possible. Our goal is to ensure that every child receives safe, nutritious meals while attending our program.

 

5. How many hours of care are included in tuition?

 

A: Tuition includes up to nine (9) hours of care per day. Families requiring care beyond nine hours may request extended care at an additional rate. Extended care is subject to availability, staffing, and scheduling capacity and cannot be guaranteed.

 

6.Q: What qualifications do your teachers have?

 

A: At Learning to Learn, we believe the quality of our teachers directly impacts the quality of care and education children receive. Our teaching staff are required to possess at least a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or a higher education degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or a related field. Staff who do not yet hold a CDA must be willing to obtain their credential within six months of hire. In addition, our teachers participate in ongoing professional development and training to ensure they remain current with best practices in early childhood education and child development.
